STEPPER
My name is Sjoerd Poldermans also known as Stepper and I grew up in a small town called Laren in the Netherlands.
I got in touch with breakin’ because of this girl living next door. She started taking breaking classes and taught me some basics like CC, Sixstep & Babyfreeze. The week after, I went with her to the class. My teacher was called Steve "Popski" Lobo.
When I started making a name for myself, in the dutch breakin’ scene. I started to have the urge to practice more with people that will challenge me more. I went to Eindhoven to practice with The Ruggeds, they asked me to do Battle Of The Year 2013. During the process of preparing for this battle, I got asked officially to be part of The Ruggeds.
As a dancer, I really bring an more traditional breaking footwork based style. As a person I'm always ready to put in the work in whatever way I can.
Something I’m afraid of..
Not being able to dance anymore, because of a injury for example.

This is a dutch rapsong, where they say "Our gras is greener". That's how I feel most of the time about us, The Ruggeds, in considering to allot of other people.
