B-boy Lagaet takes the stage at the Red Bull BC One World Final tonight. This is his third participation, but for the first time as part of The Ruggeds. Although this weekend has been crazy busy for all the dancers, he still took the time to answer some questions for us.
This is your third time participating at the world final, but the first time as a member of The Ruggeds. How do you feel about being part of our crew and being here with 4 other crewmembers?
Yesss, this is my 3rd time at the World Final. I participated in 2009 in New York, in 2011 in Moscow and now in 2021 in Gdansk, Poland.
We‘ve been doing a lot together for years! It’s a blessing to finally represent the crew 100%. It is history being made to have 4 members of the same crew on this stage, this energy that we have together is gold!✨
We’ve been on tour in Sweden this last month prior to BC One. Did you get a chance to train properly? And how did you prepare while travelling so much?
That was a busy month man… We were touring in Sweden for three weeks, plus preparing for Battle Of The Year and Red Bull BC One. Organisation is key 🔑
You’ve been selected to battle Bart. How do you feel about that?
Its gonna be an interesting battle, I think a lot of people want to see it 😄 But it could be anyone, I’m here to represent my Caribbean roots and my Crews!
